
Alli Diet Over-The-Counter Weight Loss Drug
Ireland is launching their first over-the-counter weight loss medication which helps the adults lose 50% more weight than dieting alone.
They introduced Alli (orlistat 60mg) as a non-prescription licence for weight loss treatment and use for adults with a body mass index (BMI) of 28kg/m2 or more. It has been said that it can prevent fats from being absorbed into the body which turned basically into an extra pounds.
According to Prof Patrick Wall of UCD School of Public Health and Population Science that, “it is important that overweight people that take alli diet understand it is not a replacement for the need to adopt a healthy balanced diet and take more exercise and It is not the solution to the problem but may help some overweight people start to lose weight.”
