To prevent health problems due to cholesterol, here are some anti cholesterol foods that may help you to reduce the fats store in your body.

1. Tuna fish

Rich with omega 3 that prevents our body from the increase of LDL cholesterol.

2. Kismis

It helps to reduce the cholesterol level in the blood for about 8% and for those who are willing to reduce weight, you can consume 400gm of kismis a day.

3. Shitake Mushrooms

The active component in shitake mushrooms eritadenine has been found to lower cholesterol levels in animal studies. The more eritadenine the animals received, the more their cholesterol levels dropped.

4. Walnuts

A study in the April 2004 issue of Circulation found that when walnuts were substituted for about one-third of the calories supplied by olives and other monounsaturated fats in the Mediterranean diet, total cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol were reduced. Walnuts contain the beneficial omega-3 fatty acids, which are known to be excellent for the heart.

A fruit which is high in vitamin C where it can prevent the increase of LDL cholesterol. Fruits such as mangoes, papayas, star fruits and strawberries is also rich with vitamin C.

6. Dry fruits

There are many types of dry fruits but it believes that dry lemon has a high amount of Flavanoid that reduce the LDL cholesterol together prevent the heart disease.

7. Guavas

In the scientific statistic it shows that about 18.8% of cholesterol can be reduced in the consume of guavas. It is better to consume about 400gm of guavas a day. It is also good for people on diet meals.

8. Peanuts

Roasted peanuts consume vitamin E which reduce the level of LDL cholesterol and prevents from heart disease.

9. Soya

It consumes 48% of protein, lecithin, vitamins and zat minerals which can prevents from heart disease and diabetes. This soya is also rich with calcium and minerals which can helps to break down the LDL(bad cholesterol) cholesterol level and increase the HDL (good cholesterol) cholesterol level.

10. Oats

Scientific studies proves that consume of oats every morning helps to reduce the cholesterol level in the blood.

11. Apple

Consume an apple or a glass of apple juice gives us enough nutrient to reduce cholesterol level in the blood. It helps to balance nutrient level in our body and it prevents fat clot tings in our blood.
